Bankhead Texas Wine bar is the perfect spot to lounge. Only serving up Texas wines Bankhead has something for everyone. Castle Oak Royal Blend is our favorite and don’t miss Silver Spur Tanat Rose on a hot summer day!

2) Hole In The Wall BierGarten (the even serve a doggy plate)

Okay this is our absolute favorite spot. You can’t beat the food, atmosphere, or customer service. You are treated like part of the family right away. Order from the grill and pull up a chair for some live music. You can even order a puppy bowl for your pal!

3) Clark Gardens

This breathtaking 50-acre oasis awakens the senses, stirs the spirit and relaxes the mind. From the first spring blossoms to the colorful fall, there is a sense of magic. Wheelchair accessible pathways wind through the gardens. Open Season runs Spring March 1 – July 3, and Fall September 2 -November 27 Times: Monday-Saturday: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Sunday: 10:00 am to 5:00 pm

4) Coffee and Cocktails– Live Music

Coffee and Cocktails, what’s not to love? The patio is covered to offer shade and retreat from the summer heat or any weather Texas is offering up. Staff will bring a water bowl for your furry friend as well as a full drink menu for you. Live music on weekends makes this yet another great option during your stay!

5) Mineral Wells State Park 

From hiking to biking and even paddle boarding Mineral Wells State Park makes for a perfect afternoon while in town. Park trails (12.8 miles) range from easy to challenging, from lakeside to scenic Cross Timbers trails. Or set out on the 20-mile Trailway, with its flat grades and gentle curves. The Trailway and most of the park trails are open to hikers, bikers and horseback riders. You will love the area’s history and scenery, but you’ll also enjoy the park’s outdoor amenities:  a lake, a rock climbing area, and miles of trails.

6) Our friends at You Make Me Hot Coffee
