#2 Mountain Biking

Four new mountain biking trails have opened in Mineral Wells. WMBC (Weatherford Mountain Bike Club) The Western Heritage Park Trail (WHIP Trail) is located at 3051 North Oak Avenue (approximately 1.6 miles north of downtown) 4.35-mile loop that consists of four primary trails Orange trail: Beginner Green trail: Novice Blue trail: Intermediate Red trail: Expert. In addition Flying Tire Bicycles announced they would be opening a new store in downtown Mineral Wells making our little town more friendly to an adventurous lifestyle. #3 ROCHELLE'S

Plan your next river trip with Rochelle's Canoe Rental. They offer overnight trips as well as day trips for the perfect float no matter what your skill level. The 10 mile trip is a favorite that don't want to spend the night on the river, but still desire the experience of a solid Brazos River canoe or kayak trip. #4 Hatchet House

Axe throwing a fast growing form of active entertainment. Hatchet House offers a climate controlled safe space to learn, practice, or compete in axe throwing. They have 9 lanes and can accommodate 1 person up to 99. With their axe-pert instruction, you’ll be sticking axes and having a blast! The Yard (patio) is also officially open! #5 Air Tours

Possum Kingdom Air Tours operates a Waco YMF-5, which is a modern production version of a 1930s design.  All the beauty and romance of the early days of aviation were combined with modern technology and safety enhancements to produce the adventure of a lifetime! The airplane is equipped with seating for two passengers in the front cockpit, plus the pilot in the rear cockpit. Mineral Wells Fossil Park provides the fossil enthusiast, paleontologist, and student an excellent opportunity to see and collect well preserved "Pennsylvanian Period" fossils with ease and abundance. These fossils have been dated to be just over 300 million years old. The park as it exists today is a result of 20 years of erosion of the old City of Mineral Wells Located at 2375 Indian Creek Rd, Mineral Wells. Bring small digging tools such as gardening tools, kitty litter scooper, bucket, and plenty of Crazy Water. You may also want a knee pad for comfort.

#7 Crazy Water 

Visit the Famous Water Company and try all four levels of Crazy Water, maybe even a Crazy Soda or Infusion. Belly up to the bar like they did back in the day. Thanks to Mother Nature high levels of natural minerals, Crazy Water can’t be beat. Learn all the crazy benefits of drinking Crazy! Located at 209 N. W. 6th Street  just walk over from the Inn.
